Cookie Policy

Effective date: June 8, 2026 — Last updated: June 8, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how MINDSTK LLC (“Mindstk”, “we”, “us”), 1704 Llano St, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505, USA, uses cookies and similar storage technologies on mindstk.io. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time, so you don't have to re-enter them each visit. Cookies can be “session” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” (retained for a set duration).

In addition to cookies, we use localStorage — browser storage that persists across sessions until cleared — for storing your consent choice and UI preferences.

2. Cookies We Use

We keep our use of cookies minimal. Here is a complete list:

3. Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function. They enable authentication, session management, and security. You cannot opt out of essential cookies while using the platform — doing so would prevent you from logging in.

These cookies do not require your consent under applicable cookie laws as they are necessary to deliver the service you have requested.

4. Functional Storage

We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your consent choice (mindstk-cookies) and UI preferences such as dark/light mode. This storage does not transmit data to our servers and is local to your browser.

5. Third-Party Cookies (Stripe)

When you access the checkout or billing portal, Stripe may set cookies on your device for fraud detection, payment security, and compliance purposes. These cookies are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

We do not use third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar behavioral tracking tools.

6. Your Choices

You can manage or delete cookies and localStorage at any time through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Clearing essential cookies will log you out of your account. Clearing localStorage will reset your consent preference and UI settings.

To withdraw your consent to functional storage, you can click “Decline” on the cookie banner (re-accessible by clearing your mindstk-cookies localStorage key) or contact us to request removal.

7. Do Not Track

We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as there is no industry-wide standard. We do not engage in cross-site behavioral tracking regardless of your DNT setting.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
